Behavior Management - Easter Eggs

What a day...

Is it summer yet???

Ugh. Today was the first day of state testing. First and second graders don't have to test this year, but all teachers were switched around so that none of the teachers were testing their own classes. So, I had to test an upper grades class. And boy am I exhausted! It is so tiring to just stand, and stand, and stand some more...and not do a thing!

Time for a nap! Then back to it tomorrow...

I'm worn out!

7 of my favorite things!

This won't be hard for me as I've been on Spring Break all week and haven't done a thing for school! Guess I better get in gear since tomorrow there will be 20 smiling faces waiting for me.

Okay, 7 of my favorite things...

1. Spending time with my hubby and our pups. This week has been awesome. Hubby goes to school in the evenings, so we have had all day, every day to hang out and just do whatever!



2. Coke Zero. I have learned to love it. It tastes *almost* as good as Coke. (Okay, not really.) But it has zero calories!



3. Pretzel M&M's. I seriously almost have to buy a pack every time I go in Wal-mart, or Target, or any store...



4. Puzzles. Crosswords, word searches, sudoku...I love them! It's good to get the ol' brain thinking!



5. Purses! I have about a bajillion, but always need a new one! Haha!



6. Reading. Since I was a little girl I have always loved to curl up with a good book. My favorite authors are Nicholas Sparks and Karen White. I'm currently reading...



7. Makeover shows. It can be people, houses, cars...I love seeing the transformations!

Still in shopping mode...

So, I didn't make it to Dollar Tree yesterday, but I did hit up Big Lots today. Luckily, I didn't spend TOO much money.

Here's one of my great finds...




30 sheets = 760 stickers!! The whole pack was only $4!

Did I need anymore stickers, let alone 760? Of course not, but if you're like me, you can never have enough. :)

Second trip to Target this week...

and it's only Tuesday! What can I say? I'm addicted to the Target Dollar Spot. I had to go and just "check" to see if there was anything new. I found these cuties.



Then I picked up some more of these. I already had one of each, plus one with a lion.



And last but not least...



I'm in love! I've had a jungle theme for my classroom each year. A few years ago, Target had a ton of small rugs and pillows and I really racked up. Amazingly, they are still in good condition. However, I couldn't pass these up.

I'm thinking tomorrow deserves another Dollar Tree trip...

Getting Started!

Hi! I am just starting out in the world of blogging. This is something VERY new for me! The doing my own blog thing. (I have been "stalking" many teacher blogs for awhile now) Thanks to my stalking I have so many *wonderful* resources. Hopefully, I will be able to give back!
