Monday Made It & My New Toy!



Happy Monday!  I can't believe I only have two weeks left until school starts!  Yikes...

This week I decided to transform my clipboard.  Here's the before.  B.o.r.i.n.g!



Can you believe I've been carrying this thing around for the past few years?

And now...


I just love duct tape! :)

I also made a behavior clip chart a couple of weeks ago.  However, I've since read THIS POST by Kristin at The Teeny Tiny Teacher.  So now I think I'm going to ditch my clip chart and go for the yellow tags!  I wanted to share it any way since  I'm a little sad I won't be using it.  I figure I'll save it for when the students start acting like they don't know what in the world school is all about if we need a change.


Lastly, I got an early birthday present!  



YAY!  I have been able to get so much done!  Only two people at my school are allowed to use the laminator, so needless to say, I haven't been able to laminate anything this summer!


My mom and I had so much fun laminating and cutting out all my stuff.  Of course, my husband thought we were crazy. ;)


Ahhhh...freshly laminated...only teachers understand! :)

    I keep insisting to my family that I NEED a laminating machine but they just don't understand the importance.

    I love your laminator. I feel like I would laminate waaaaaay more stuff than I needed to if I had one, haha!

    Girl I LOOOOOVE my laminator! It's ridiculous how fantastic they are. I actually had a teacher friend come over for a pinterest day and we were laminating up a storm. Boys just don't understand it. :)

    Your laminator is a great investment into protecting all the cute things you find/create! I know you're going to absolutely become obsessed with easy laminating on a whim. I LOVE your cute clipboard, I still need to decoupage my BORING one before the school year starts too!

    Your laminator is so cute! I hate laminating! Is that a teaching crime?? It seems like whenever I go to the school one it is ALWAYS busy. I'm wondering if I had my own if I would feel differently. Who knows! I just got a new printer, so it is going to have to wait until next summer for that purchase. Happy Laminating!

    I want a personal laminating machine so bad! How much did it cost/where did you get it? How often do you have to change the cartridge and how much are those? Sorry about all of the questions; I'm just so interested!

    Love the clipboards. I have been using a lot of jungle duct tape this summer!! Doing a jungle theme, too. I would hate to add up how much money I have spent over the years on laminating pouches. OUCH!!
